Sledding at Lake Leann was quite exciting. In the attached pictures you will see the hill. As you can see when starting we were far above the lake and houses. We would go down the hill, across the road, and then shoot out onto the ice of the lake. Of course once we were on the ice it gave little resistance to our momentum, which by then we had plenty of it, thus we went quite a ways. I would say that we traveled at least a quarter of a mile before we had to start the long climb back up. On this occasion I think either mom or dad met us with the car at the bottom of the hill and then drove us back up.
